Tips To Deal With Volibear Counter 8.19

1) Ignite or any item that provides Grievous Wounds will lower healing from his passive Chosen of the Storm by 40%.

2) Volibear’s W/Frenzy deals increasing damage on a percentage of missing health which means it will deal even more damage the lower his target is. So avoid fighting him while being low since it’s dangerous and lets him kill you instantly as an execute.

3) When you see Volibear get extremely low, play safely and consider the massive healing he receives (30% of his maximum health) before continuing to fight him since he will be able to turn the tables with the innate tankiness he gets from the healing.

4) To know if his passive Chosen of the Storm is down, click on him and look at the stats present at the top left, you will see a greyed out bear at the bottom of the stat window indicating it being down which means it will not provide him healing when he gets low as long as that indicator stays on.
