Tips To Deal With Illaoi Counter 8.19

1) When Illaoi uses her E/ Test of Spirit and rips out your soul, make sure to either stand apart from it so she is not able to hit both the soul and you at the same time or get out of the tether range so you can stop taking further damage( although to note, the target will become a vessel and start spawning nearby tentacles that will aim at it).

2) LOL Illaoi doesn’t have any reliable good gap closers to keep close and maintain distance with her targets. So picking a high mobility champ or ranged champ against her is a very good choice which can harass her from a distance and prevent Illaoi from returning damage as well. This is also helps in dodging her tentacles easier.

3) Avoid standing close to her spawned tentacles while she is in proximity as she can use her W/Harsh Lesson on you and cause her tentacles to hit you hard and also healing her slightly.

4) If she is tunnel visioning and hard focusing your soul, attack her while she is doing it as you will deal more damage to her. And also attacking Illaoi while she is testing the spirit reduces the duration of the soul being out.
